INCUBUS ATTACK

I have had my share of cases of this magnitude and they always seem to be as detrimental to the people involved as well as the investigators who investigate them. Let me first briefly discuss the background of this case. Sandy is a wealthy 80-year-old woman who resides in a small house with allot of land, which is located in an old town in central Connecticut. She was raised a devout Catholic and still very much reads her bible. Sandy's husband Harold passed away in the home in 1994 in a hospital bed that Sandy had purchased, as she wanted Harold's last days to be spent in their home close to her. This was something that Harold also wanted and discussed frequently.

In June 1996, I decided to stay overnight. There were many ghost lights and forms of shadow ghost moving throughout the house, there was also an intense feeling of dread that filled the air in the house. When I first entered Sandy's home, the air was so heavy, it seemed hard to move and breathe. Sandy had left to stay at her sisters' house during the investigation, as she was afraid to be attacked in front of me. Privacy was something the elderly grew up with, almost like the old school and I understood and thought it would be better this way, as I wanted her privacy as little as it was, intact. I decided to stay in Sandy's room, as that is where much of the activity was taking place. She would go to bed and then would feel a presence lay down beside her and see the bed indent but no one was there. This is when she would be sexually attacked. I decided to place my recorder on the hospital bed and with camera in hand I started to see many ghost lights above my head towards the ceiling, I started to take pictures. Besides the physical touches and jabs I was experiencing an overwhelming feeling of terror engulfed through my whole body. That night very little happened other than the ghost lights, shadow ghost and a few physical jabs. I knew I had to help this poor women, it was evil, and the house felt alive with every corner I took.

Even though the house had an evil presence, there were also a few other entities that remained there, one of which was Sandy's husband Harold. He seemed to be confined in one room only and there was also another man who seemed to stay in the cellar. The sensitive who visited believed that he committed some kind of sin in the cellar such as adultery, and for some unknown reason remained there ever since. The main harmful entity in the house was an incubus. It did not like men present in the home, and was even worse when the female investigators entered, they were subject to serious physical attacks. Before I became involved with the case, some of the women investigators would lay down on the hospital bed and would have their legs shaken beyond their control and sometimes their whole lower body would shake as if something was bouncing up and down on their thighs. This malevolent entity made life hard for any investigator who entered the home as well as Sandy.

As time went on and many investigations had taken place, there was over several hundred hours of documentation on video, audio recordings and pictures. Numerous photos revealed psychic events and many unexplained sounds on the tape recordings. I decided to go back with a few other investigators and that is when all Hell broke loose. Everyone who entered that home was getting physically attacked. The women investigators were getting their hair pulled, legs pinched and private areas touched. Everyone in that home was throwing off so much energy that it was feeding this entity. I was sitting on Sandy's bed when all of a sudden I jumped off, startling everyone in the room, something had grabbed me from around the waist and squeezed hard. No one was near me and I did not see anything. One of the investigators with camera in hand snapped a picture and caught me in the air. I ran into the hallway to turn the lights on and the light lit up three times the normal brightness for any light and then it had blown out, I was in the dark.

After a brief outside break, we all returned to various locations in the home. A few investigators decided to spend some time in an unused bedroom upstairs and began seeing a red ghost light manifesting in an open closet, as it got brighter and larger a clear devilish face began to appear. They saw this now taking up the entire closet, they began throwing Holy water at it and commanding it to leave, and it did. Then all of a sudden there was banging going on down in Sandy's room, whatever was in that room now had moved to Sandy's room. It took us an hour or so to command it to leave. Then we all left, it was five in the morning and knowing it would be daybreak soon we all decided to go home and get some rest as we were of no use tired. I knew at this point that we had another long night ahead of us, it had been a trying night to say the least.

After that night we knew the spirit in that home was very dangerous and we decided to call in a local priest to bless the home and Sandy to be rid of this presence. Father Bishop did perform the blessing and all was quiet in the home, that is until everyone left. Then the incubus decided to show Sandy it was not playing. It did not like what was attempted in the home and was going to let Sandy know it. Sandy had spent the next several nights sleeping in the bathtub, this was the only place where she knew it would not attack her. It was her only refuge. So we decided to try again to rid this unwanted guest from the home. This time in the presence of a few Japanese camera crew and Sandy, Ed and Lorraine Warren and a few other investigators a suffimunigation was performed in her house. This is a religious cleansing using Holy incense, beeswax candles and prayers, lots of prayers. This took about an hour and a half. Sandy had no further attacks.

It was about a month after the suffimunication and still no sign of the evil spirit, then without warning one night Sandy awoke at three in the morning by unseen hands under her pajamas. It had returned. This spirit was proving very strong and very defiant. They continued to perform religious rituals to help Sandy and as far as I know Sandy is still experiencing phenomena though not as severe as it was. She has proved to be a very strong lady.

Incubus is NOT a male evil sprit; there is no gender when it comes to anything demonic/inhuman. One minute an evil spirit can attack a female (they call this Incubus) then it can attack a male (they call that succubus). This is a danger that all investigators can face while walking into any home on a case. Until we can decide what is taking place we have no idea if it is inhuman or and earthbound entity. I do wish Sandy all of God's love and prayers.

Sandy, who was alone and missing Harold would often visit her sisters in a nearby town. There were rumors that Sandy attempted a psychomanthium after her husbands death, regardless of the rumors, Sandy's life would change and the events terrifying. With no explanation on how the events started as she was being physically, mentally and sexually attacked, she knew she needed help. She decided to contact Ed Warren who assessed her situation and knew himself that she needed help and needed it fast. He sent many investigators to her home over the course of a year and a half, of which many stayed in the house and refused to go back.
